The tragedy on December 14th which claimed the lives of four Hydro One workers, James Baragar, 39, Jeff Howes and Darcy Jansen, both 26, and Kyle Shorrock, 27, had a profound effect on the families and colleagues.
In a coordinated effort to pay tribute and recognize these men, Hydro One, Correctional Services Canada, and Willis Manufacturing collaborated to design, fabricate and paint two custom plaques which are now mounted on the tower near the crash site. A private ceremony was held for the families and colleagues as Hydro One unveiled the plaques.
Kyle Shorrock was a former employee of Willis Manufacturing, whose talent and broad skill set made him a dynamic, and valued team member.
We are honoured to have had the opportunity to work on such an important project, and our sympathies go out to the families.
